We received an inquiry about our NPK granulating machines. The sender was a businessman who had a plan to invest in a commercial NPK fertilizer plant. One day, he searched on Google and found our website. There was a page about NPK granulating machines getting his attention. The page mainly aimed to offer some useful tips about how to buy an ideal NPK granulator.
That did give a different angle to the client on the purchase of a granulator for his NPK plant. After browsing lots of cases and solutions we shared on our website, the client was impressed by our company featured in manufacturing high-quality fertilizer making equipment, providing ideal solutions and offering excellent customer services. Accordingly, with great trust in us, the client sent us an email, expressing his need for ideal NPK granulating machines for his factory.
What Are the Requirements of Our Client?lution
In the email, the client articulated his basic needs, “…We are about to invest in a new NPK factory in Konya. Now, we need a proper granulator or a whole (NPK fertilizer) production line. The capacity of the plant is 1-3 tons per hour…” There are 3 NPK granulating machines we sell and all of them can meet his requirements. Commonly, we suggest our clients choose disk pelletizers to make NPK fertilizer, or sometimes rotary drum granulating machines if they prefer a larger hourly capacity.
But, the email revealed this Turkish buyer’s preference for our roller press granulator. In the email, the customer said, “…We read the page about dry granulation equipment and thought that it was good. Actually, this is our first project on fertilizer production. We more like the method of dry granulation. It is quite simple and easy, and most importantly, requires less investment…”
The Advantages of Roller Press Granulator for Making NPK Fertilizer
Indeed, dry granulation requires fewer machines and production costs than wet granulation does. When one chooses this method, he doesn’t need to spend more on buying a rotary drum drying machine and a rotary drum cooling machine to process his NPK fertilizer granules. Instead, he can bag his NPK fertilizer after it is granulated and screened. “Will the NPK fertilizer granules be easy to break into pieces without the process of drying and cooling?” someone may ask. According to our research, our roller press granulator can produce NPK fertilizer granules with high strength, about 20-25 N, that can withstand the pressure from long-time storage and transportation.
Granulation Trial for Our Client
Because of its working principle, pressing fertilizer powder into granules by extrusion force, it has a high standard for raw materials.
We were not sure whether it was a wise idea for our client to use our roller press granulating machine or not before we found out about his raw materials. Then, the client told us that he was prepared to produce NPK fertilizer granules with ammonium sulphate, ammonium sulphate and other common types of NPK fertilizer powder. In case the efficiency of our roller granulator failed to meet the standard of the customer, we suggested the client have a granulation trial.
Considering that his raw materials were common on the market, we did not require the client to send a sample of his raw materials. Then, we weighed a certain amount of each raw material according to the recipe the client offered and put it into a granulator.
Meanwhile, we filmed the whole process, from feeding raw materials to discharging NPK fertilizer granules. To our surprise, the granules looked good, without a large number of substandard pellets. We took several pictures of the fertilizer products and sent them to the customer. With delight, he asked for a whole production line with other NPK fertilizer making machines.
3 T/H NPK Fertilizer Production Line for Sale
The production line consists of a dynamic batching machine with 3 hoppers, a pan mixing machine, 2 roller granulators, a rotary screening machine, a chain crusher and an auto bagging machine. It is necessary for the client to manually put his raw materials into the batching machine that can batch his raw materials at a specific ratio. Carried by the auto conveying system, the powder is fed into the pan mixer and then, the roller granulator. Then, the screening machine will separate granulated NPK fertilizer: One flow of standard fertilizer granules rushing towards the bagging machine, while the other, substandard pellets, going into the chain crusher.
During the conversation about the design of the NPK fertilizer production line, we told the client that a polishing machine and a coating machine were helpful in the process of producing beautiful NPK fertilizer granules without a caking problem. Though had a great interest in them, the client declined due to a lack of sufficient budget. But, he gave a promise of the next cooperation with us when he needed them. Then, the customer paid the deposit to get his NPK fertilizer production line. It is estimated that NPK fertilizer machinery will be shipped in the next week.
